Trust in God

In an interview with many on the streets of America, you could ask this question, "In what do you trust?" and receive various answers. One might say, "in money do I trust" or another "in my physical prowess" or another might say "in my abilities as a thinker" or "in my friends" or "in my IRA's, stocks and bonds." All of which would be interesting answers but all of which would be undependable. David penned words of personal testimony when he said, "My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him." (Psalm 62:1) This may seem ethereal but is really very practical. God has a reputation for being trustworthy. He has been so for thousands of years as exampled in the stories of Noah, Abraham, Joseph, David, Gideon, Paul and many others.
