Two Destinations

Two Destinations  There is a stark difference between the pictures given in the Bible of heaven and hell. Consider just one of those comparisons in the books of Ezekiel and Hebrews. The three equalizers of men that lead to death are the sword, plague, and famine. Over and over these three lead hordes to the afterlife. Ezekiel under the direction of God, prophesied against ruling countries and empires of the world. He spoke to Assyria, Egypt, Elam, Meshech and Tubal, Edom and all that came before and followed them. He said, "I sent it [Assyria] down to the grave with all the others who descend to the pit." (Ezekiel 31:16) "I will send them down to the world below in company with those who descend to the pit." Creation

What do you believe about the creation of the world and all that is in it? The source of the earth, plants, animals and humans and beyond it the universe has been a matter of discussion for centuries but the obvious answer to their beginnings has always been before us. It is laid out in Genesis 1 as God, who created the heavens and the earth. His Spirit hovered over it and in six days He brought everything that was necessary for existence to grow and thrive on the earth: light, water, land, vegetation, stars, moons, creatures of the sea, land and sky, and human beings. After all, it was God doing the work. This is not a truth that most scientists believe. They place their faith in the process of evolution which is harder to believe than the story in Genesis 1. They submit themselves to no Creator and ignore facts that disprove their beliefs. Sadly, their false idea has found its way into churches, seminaries, and schools and left its mark on hearts eager to walk away from God. Yet, from…
